Below is a copy of my oratory speech on honoring my wife. This particular recording was done Friday at a drama performance arranged by Anna Lofgren (maidensofworth.org). It took me a few days to figure out that I'm supposed to embed the YouTube link in the html and not the plain text editor :-). Anyway, I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy giving it.
Also, several of you have expressed interest in having me perform it at your church, youth group, etc. If you have an audience, I would be only too happy to perform it again. Just shoot me a message. Or if you want to schedule a conference in a month or two, I can give you the 2 hour version :-).

good job :)
Glad you got it uploaded! A speech is always more effective when it's seen rather than read.
There's a two-hour version?
BRAVO! You did a great job, Ben. I hope you don't mind if I send the link to this video to some friends. I'll link to your blog as well.

Great video Benjamin, you did a wonderful job on your oratory speech.

Anna -
I've started outlining a longer speech for a conference style event. I first thought about it when some speech friends in Tennessee and Louisiana said they were interested in speaking for their church.
Chrysti -
By all means, you can send it to anybody you like. Everything at inallpurity is copyrighted. Make as many copies as you want as long as you copy it right :-).
Ali Ann and Nina -
As always, your comments are appreciated more than you know.
Loved this so much, very, very encouraging. :) Is the 2 hour one recorded somewhere? I'd love to hear it.

I just found your blog, linked from another new one that I'll be reading as well, and I just wanted to say thank you so much. I'm in a situation where I don't really know any young men other than my brothers. Acquainted, yes, but not really more than that. My brothers don't talk about this kind of thing at all, either. I honestly can't remember having any kind of discussion with my mother about modesty, either, yet all of her daughters have grown up as modest, pure young women. :-) But it really is a blessing to have the importance and the preciousness of purity affirmed, especially by a young man. We hear it so much from sisters, and it is always encouraging, but from a brother? Not so frequent, but even better than from a sister. But then, a whole blog, by a young man, devoted to purity, and encouraging brothers and sisters both? God bless you! It's not often that I come across a blog, and know within five minutes that it is going in my favorites, but this one certainly is. I'll be back. :-)
And somewhere out there, there is a very lucky young lady. :-)
Very nice speech....that was really encouraging. I am enjoying reading your blog - your devotion to staying pure is truly a blessing to see!
